When a photo is not enough...



...you need to make a video. But we don´t mean a 30 seconds spot that is normally seen on TV. We are talking about videos that have at least 2 minutes, and which we can also call minimovies. This trend is becoming very popular in the world of fragrances. What can guarantee you greater success in selling new (or old-new) perfume??? Photo or this kind of video with your idol? I think that we all know the answer.
Fashion brand Christian Dior is considered to be the one who started this trend. It produces this kind of advertisements in large and very often. Before few years we could have seen Jude Law starring at this kind of minimovie that was directed by Guy Richie (Sherlock Holmes). He was replaced by another men celebrity - probably the greatest current (sex) idol Robert Pattinson before few months. Almost 5 minute video, in which he was joined by model Camille Rowe, shows us Robert in a different perspective and is also his first advertisement for perfume. Even though I am definitely not a Twilight-fan, I agree with the selection of this fashion house. Well this is just one campaign.


Dior has in reserve other famous names - Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard or Jennifer Lawrence.
The first two of them also played in such a minimovies.
Besides Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Dolce & Gabanna presented their new campaigns, in which they also bet on famous names as Scarlett Johannson and Matthew McConaughey, and another brand-Guerlain has also developed almost 6-minute ad for perfume Shalimar starring with Russian model Natalia Vodianova.

Keď fotka nestačí...tak treba vyrobiť video. Ale nemáme namysli 30sekundový spot, ktorý bežne vidíte v televízii. Myslíme videá, ktoré majú minimálne 2minúty, môžeme im tiež hovoriť minifilmy. Tento trend vo svete vôni sa stáva čím ďalej populárnejším. Veď čo zaručí väčší úspech pri predaji nového (alebo staronového) parfumu??? Fotka alebo takéto video s vašim idolom? Myslím, že odpoveď poznáme všetci.
Za priekopníka v takýchto minifilmoch môžeme považovať módny dom Christian Dior. Vyrába tieto reklamy skutočne vo veľkom a na počkanie.Pred pár rokmi si zahral v takomto minifilme Jude Law a režíroval ho Guy Richie(Sherlock Holmes). Pred pár mesiacmi ho však nahradila iná mužská superhviezda - asi najväčší súčasný (sex)idol Robert Pattinson. Takmer 5minútové video, v ktorom mu sekunduje modelka Camille Rowe predstavuje Roba celkom  inom svetle a je to jeho prvá reklamná kampaň na parfum. A i keď rozhodne nepatrím k twilight fanúšikom, voľbu módneho domu len kvitujem. No to je len jedna kampaň.
Dior má v zálohe aj iné hviezdne mená - Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard či Jennifer Lawrence.
Prvé dve menované si tiež stihli zahrať v takýchto minifilmoch.
Okrem spomínaného Dior-a, predstavil novú kampaň aj Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce&Gabbana, ktorí tiež stavili na hviezdne mená, Scarlett Johansson a Matthew McConaughey a nezaostáva ani značka Guerlain, ktorá vytvorila takmer 6minútovu reklamu na parfum Shalimar v hlavnej úlohe s Ruskou Nataliou Vodioanovou.
Samozrejme Vám aj pár videí prikladáme, lebo fotky (ani text) Vám asi nestačia...:)
