Blake´s "The Age Of Adaline" Promo Tour

Hi Everyone! I haven´t posted anything for a while now, but actually I don´t have time for blogging these days. I have a lot of things going on in my school... I have just finished my diploma thesis, which was focused on quality analysis of chocolate bars with coconut filling, and I´m also trying to pass my last university exams, so I´m kind of busy ... 

Anyways, as you may have noticed from my Instagram account, a lot of my latest posts feature one of the most beautiful actresses, Blake Lively. She´s nowadays promoting her latest movie "The Age Of Adaline", which I can´t wait to see, so hopefully it will premiere in Slovakia asap, too. These are actually the first events she attended since giving birth to her daughter James, and let me just say that she looks like a really hot mama. Maybe that´s the reason why so many people are actually concerned about what she wears and how she looks. I feel like all of the outfits are somehow connected with this film as it tells the story of a woman, who miraculously stopped aging for almost eight decades, and also some of Blake´s looks might seem touched by the past eras. So here are all of the looks from her promo tour for this movie... 

And BTW don´t you remember Serena whenever you see her and later realize that you have to watch Gossip Girl again? I certainly do... :)

Coachella Festival in only 3 Days

One of the biggest music festivals starts in only 3 days! Ever since I remember, I always wanted to party at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It´s held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California and known for the various music genres it features. This year´s headliners include AC/DC, Drake, David Guetta, Florence + The Machine, George Ezra, Hozier, Weeknd, and many many others. During the two weekends in a row, April 10, 11, 12 and April 17, 18, 19, you can also meet your favorite stars in the crowd. Alessandra Ambrosio, Vanessa Hudgens, Rosie, Beyonce, Kendall & Kylie, Selena Gomez, Nina Dobrev are only some of the annual visitors of this fest. However, the tickets are sold out months in advance and cost $375 for one weekend. 

Anyways, I wanted to create my Coachella look so I can at least dream about going there. I paired one of this year´s biggest trends, the fringe jacket, with simple pieces as the white top from H&M´s Coachella collection, Levi´s shorts and lace-up gladiators. I wanted to add some specific pieces to this look, so I chose this flower headband, which will look amazing on beach waves.

Summer is just around the corner and so many of us have been already thinking about the holidays. Everyone wants to look their best at the beach, whether in bikinis or overall. So it´s the perfect time to color your hair with a lighter shade, get some highlights, but also to start working on your beach body. I must say that the gyms are already overcrowded and therefore, also the trx classes, that I´ve been regularly participating in, are nowadays fully enrolled. And believe me, if you try it once and don´t give up, it will surely become a part of you. Options are various. You just have to choose an activity and fully engage in it...

"Urban Safari" is coming back this summer

Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a great week! Mine has just turned around 180 degrees, but luckily for me, in a positive way... 

Although the weather doesn´t look any good today, soon there will be summer. And not just any summer! We can expect an Urban Safari, the latest street style trend. Leather, khaki, animal prints, hats... all of these and many other are an essential part of this look. When speaking about the overall visage, less is more, which in this case means matching it with beach waves and only a gentle make up. Since it´s urban safari, don´t forget to pair it with mirror sunglasses, colorful handbag, sneakers or any other "city" accessory to even highlight this look.

Oscars 2015 Best Dressed

Hi Everyone! It´s been a very long day for me, but I couldn´t imagine it to end without the list of my favorite red carpet moments from last night´s Annual Academy Awards. 

Hopefully, we all agree that the 2015 Oscars and it´s after-parties were one of the best dressed in comparison with the previous years. I feel like there were less than ten looks that weren´t so suitable for this event. Unfortunately, my worst dressed place belongs to the actress, thanks to which even I got my name, Nicole Kidman. Although she was wearing a metallic Louis Vuitton gown, this once one of the most beautiful actresses looked like a wax figure. 

Even though it was very hard for me to choose only ten best looks from so many beautiful gowns, here is my list... Based on the overall look, hair, make up, and the dress, of course! :)

Gigi Hadid in Versace 

NYFW Best Dressed

Hi Everyone! Whereas the Fall 2015 RTW New York Fashion Week is slowly coming to an end, it´s the best time for a little recap. That´s why I have chosen for me the two best dressed persons from the last two weeks, the "IT" girl, Olivia Palermo, and model, Gigi Hadid. 

For me it was love at first sight, when I saw Gigi for the first time. Her innocent face, almost sinful body and long blonde locks make her an eye-catching goddess. During the NYFW, Gigi appeared at various events, including modeling for Jeremy Scott, Anna Sui, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, and in addition at various parties and front rows. Well, when she wasn´t perfectly styled for the star-studded events (BTW as the true Maybelline face, Gigi is usually doing her makeup alone), we saw her walking the streets of New York with her good-looking boyfriend Cody Simpson and a perfect pair of Krewe Du Optic sunglasses. 

Regarding Olivia, I feel like, what we´ve seen in the past few days, is normal for her. She´s always the perfect lady and really knows what to wear for that particular event. Sometimes I even admire her courage to wear that one piece of clothing. But however, if I looked as good in it as she does, I wouldn´t resist for long.

Sunday Winter Inspiration

Wish you a nice weekend! Hope it´s all about relaxing and enjoying the last winter days... 

But since it´s still cold outside, I am here to show you the latest look of one of the best dressed women nowadays, Olivia Palermo. As soon as I saw this outfit, I´ve fallen in love with it. Especially with this Diane von Furstenberg fur collar coat, which she paired with Isabel Marant leather boots. Whereas it´s quite expensive, as it´s made of the natural raccoon fur and lambskin leather, you can find many similar and much cheaper ones on River Island or MissGuided websites.  

Enjoy the rest of the weekend! And don´t forget that the 2015 Grammy Awards start in 14 hours, which means at around three in the morning in Europe!

The "Fringe" Trend

Hi Everyone! Another tip for staying "fashion inspired"... 

I have lately realized that the "fringes" are literally everywhere! I know that this ain´t a new trend, however, I think that the last months have been the breakthrough ones. And this situation is not going to change even this year. No matter what type you prefer, you can never be wrong. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the fringes are quite eye-catching, and therefore less is more... But simultaneously normal is boring! :)  

I got the idea to write this article, when I saw one of my favorite models, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, wearing an all black look at the airport. At first glance, it looked like a normal casual and simple outfit, but then I saw her beautiful fringed boots and I completely changed my mind. It´s really interesting, how one unusual piece can change the whole styling.

Sienna Miller, an incredibly beautiful woman and an amazing actress. I´m totally loving her current style. I feel like since she´s cut her hair short, she looks even more chic and stylish. That´s probably the reason, why I loved her latest outfits. I cannot imagine another person wearing this baggy striped colorful sweater dress and looking this good.

The 2015 Golden Globes Queens

Hi Everyone! It´s been a while since I´ve posted something. It´s because I have a lot of responsibilities in school and at work, but, however, I have to admit that I had some kind of a creative block, which I hope is finally over! 

Anyways, as you may have already noticed, the first of the major film awards of the 2015 season were held last night. The 2015 Golden Globe Awards took place in Los Angeles. I gotta say that all of the actresses and singers looked incredibly beautiful, and as each year, some red carpet queens appeared. In my opinion the most flawless ones (when speaking about the overall look, make up, dress and hair style) were Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Dakota Johnson, Anna Kendrick, Emma Stone, Lupita Nyong´o and Keira Knightley.

My 2014 highlights

Happy 31st Everyone! As this year ends today, I have for you the last part of my 2014 favorites. This time, I summed up the most influential trends, designers, campaigns... 

1. The YEAR OF "NORMCORE" 

"Normcore" has been here for some decades now, but it was developed as a term only last year in October by the trend agency K-Hole. It´s main idea is that you rather fit in than stand out. Denim trousers, plain t-shirts, comfy sweaters, hoodies and label-free designs are the main characteristics of the most widespread trend. But be careful, this doesn´t mean that you don´t care, what you wear! Just patiently choose the correct items... 

2014 Red Carpet/Party Queens

Hi Everyone! As the days go by, the end of this year is fast approaching. So I think this is the perfect time to recap the year 2014, and so be ready to what the next year might bring! 

In the next few days I´ll be posting my bests from the still ongoing year. And here I should stop by the word "my" to strengthen that it´s only my opinion. However, if you think I forgot something, I´ll be very happy if you let me know. 

There were many nights, when I tried to inform you and upload photos from various events right after or even during the show. I believe that everyone, who is at least a little bit interested in fashion, is excited about the newest red carpet, after-party, front-row and movie premiere looks. That´s why I tried to pick the best ones from this year. My choices were not made just because of the beautiful dresses worn, but also due to the make-up, hair style and the overall aura of the person...

Hi Everyone! It´s been a rough couple of weeks, but finally it´s time to relax and spend your days with family and friends. Even though right now you may still be baking, cleaning up or making your holiday decorations, I guarantee you that in a few hours you´ll forget all your problems while watching favorite Christmas fairytale.

However, I have to share with you the most amazing sweater dress I´ve lately seen and maybe give you some late Christmas gift inspiration... Since the moment I saw Kylie wearing this Opening Ceremony dress with a zip detail I have completely fallen in love with her outfit. It looks so fresh, modern, but also comfortable and chic. Perfect for almost any occasion! Although the price is not as we´d want it to be, I hope they will be on sale. And for those of you, who will be searching for its cheaper version, I suggest very similar dresses from ASOS.

Hi Everyone! Hope you have already bought all of your Christmas presents, ´cause the traffic jams on the streets and also in the shops are driving me crazy nowadays...

 

Anyways, I have for you some winter inspiration from my most favorite girl, my all-time crush Rihanna. As you all know, I love her style, her personality, her songs, her attitude and the way she makes everything how she wants it to be done. Recently I have noticed that she wore the same winter jacket for several times. And, as usually, I´ve totally fallen in love with this Isabel Marant Étoile Flor Quilted Coat... so much that I had to buy a similar one, or at least in similar colors, too. I bought it from River Island, so I highly recommend you to have a look at their site, because they have the best stuff and currently, they also have some seasonal sale!

Winter Inspiration

Hi Everyone! It´s just a matter of time, before it finally starts to snow. But since I´m one of those people who think that it should only be snowing for the two weeks around Christmas, I´m not so excited...

 

However, winter season has already started and as every year, the first pre-holiday sales are here! I don´t want it to look like some kind of an advert, but as long as I love ASOS and it´s been my number one shopping destination for five years I think, I´ll be mentioning it a lot. This time, I have picked my favorite pieces from their first winter 25% off sales.  All these pieces are different, but I think that they are really suitable for this season and even I don´t know, which one of them will end up in my shopping bag. No matter how, they´ve all been added to my wish list!

My Trend Alert - Tartan/Checkered Skirt

Hi Everyone! It´s Friday finally, which means that I definitely have some time to do the things I love... It´s been a very busy week for me. It all started on Monday with my work, continued with my school and then it all ended, as you may have seen on my Instagram account, today with my job again. Unfortunately, lately I´ve been over loaded with all my responsibilities... Anyways, I hope that your weeks are not so stressed like mines and so you can find some time to shop, too. After all, women, and also some of the men, never have enough pieces in their closet.

 

Check print/ tartan/ plaid is definitely one of my favorite trends I´ve loved for a while now. And when it´s better to wear it than in autumn and winter!?!... Already last year, I posted the best street style photos of this trend. The situation hasn´t changed so much, but this year I´m mostly fond of checkered skirts. Midi, mini, maxi, green, blue, red... no matter which one you choose, you´ll always look alluring. I personally have a crush on the monochrome ones (black-and-white) and I´m surely purchasing one in the next few days.
